Call to Artists: The "7th Annual Spring Stampede Art Show & Sale" will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Rusty Gables Guest Lodge & Gallery,OKC, from 2:00-5:00 pm.looking for: Western, Southwest or Native American, Wildlife & Ranch Heritage originals in oil, watercolor, pastel, ink, acrylic, bronze, marble, charcoal, graphite, gouache, smaller works with a maximum size of 20” x 26”, including frame, (50 lb. limit on sculpture) with a price point up to $2000 (sculpture up to $4500). We want to encourage our art patrons to start collecting your work, so, we are asking that all artists excepted this year, submit a “calling card” in the form of a 4” x 6” or smaller signed original drawing or painting, etc. representing their work. Winners of these original “calling cards” will be randomly drawn and will be given away periodically during the show. Please e-mail good quality (300 dpi or above) jpg images of your artwork (without frame,) or mail 4” x 6” photos (without frame.) OKLAHOMA ARTISTS SOUGHT: Fiber Artists of Oklahoma is seeking entries for FIBERWORKS 2012, Oklahoma’s 34th annual juried fiber exhibition, to be held June 15 – July 7, in Oklahoma City. Open to current residents of Oklahoma, the exhibit honors quality workmanship and original design. The eclectic exhibit features art quilting, basketry, needlework, weaving, paper, soft sculpture, other work primarily constructed of fiber. Entries are juried from actual work, which will be received on Saturday, June 9 and Monday, June 11, from 12 noon until 4 p.m., at the Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) Gallery, 706 W.
